How do you define going the extra mile for your customer?
Users questions:How do you define going the extra mile for your customer?
Experts answer:Well, there is no one single answer to this question. Anything that you do for the customer that goes beyond the simple "sale" of the product is "going the extra mile". If you can make the whole process enjoyable for the customer, then you earned yourself repeat business. You will find that it is much easier to make repeat sales then it is to spend resources to find new customers. Simple things like a "Thank You" card after a sale, or a follow up call to make sure that the customer is happy. If your sale involves shipping, perhaps you can help the customer with organizing that. In the past, I have even sent customers a card on their birthday. It's a small gesture, but they are more likely to call you when they need more product. The ideas are endless, but it's all about great customer service.
Hope this helps
