I was scammed by Sanlida Adhesive

Users questions:Just like to mention that I was scammed from a verified gold member on Dec 8, 2010....I was waiting to see if my bank could retrieve my money of $600.00 usd, but by the time they responded alibaba told me case has been closed because i did not send the documents in the time frame of 20 days. They promised to wait and see if my bank can retrieve the transfer made but instead closed my case for no apparent reason. That same day I provided documents to alibaba showing the money transfer and have not heard from them since. Alibaba is a scam in itself...my husband contacted the alibaba headquarters in china....they kept transferring his calls and message kept saying to email them....which I have... and waiting for someone to contact me. I would love it if Alibaba somehow can get charged for cyber crime...I am thinking of launching an investigation and contacting the Internet Crime Center for criminal behaviour that is exployed on the internet....they serve as a vehicle to receive criminal complaints. I am willing to do anything to get these scammers...alibaba...from hosting their website. Please contact me with any information that can asisst me and possibly others on how we can get the money that we have lost through fraud.....thank you. P.S. I will continue posting all over alibaba's wesite and all other websites until something gets done...just complaining will not solve anything. ------------------------------------------- Dear Ms. sunflower h, Thanks for cooperating in the investigation of your complaint. According to our investigations, the supplier is a scammer and their Alibaba.com account has been cancelled. For your info, all buyers who are proven to be scammed by paid Alibaba.com members might be eligible for a partial refund from our Fair Play Fund. Recommended I never said that I should be first in line.....get your facts straight before you post.  Alibaba emailed me and stated that the case would remain open to see if I can retrieve my money from the bank first. which i could not, so i proceeded to send the documents that the bank gave me...do you understand english....i had to wait for this form from my bank first.....They lied and are scammer....you probably work for them....that's why when you call the alibaba headquarter they never answer....they switch you over to a recording. You said it yourself' with so many complaints to alibaba'...what does this tell you about this website..STEALERS....FRAUD....STEALING IS A CRIME..... They shoud be screening these gold members and if you notice all the banned members are gold...they are getting paid so they dont give a F...k. I took responsibility and even phoned this supplier and investigated as much as I possibly could...so dont slander me if you dont know..you are to quick to judge anyone. From this response you are just showing that people who lost their money deserved it becausr they didn't do their homework. Alibaba should take som responsibility. People are getting robbed here everyday....this is a crime....and no one seems to care..only people like you who speculate without knowing all the details. I am just one person trying to stop cyber crime....if others got involved...alibaba would be shut down. Hard working people loosing their money and you sound a little to insensitive in these matters....   Modified by sunflower h on 11-01-2011 13:10 Modified by sunflower h on 11-01-2011 13:28

Recommended Hello Anybody who was scammed by the Chinese supplier, It is very hard for you to get your money back as you are in the US, the UK, Germany or other foreign countries but the scammers are in China. You have time barriers and languages barriers. Worsemore, you are not familiar with the whole China at all. There are 23 provinces, 4 municipalities, 282 prefecture and 374 cities in China. China is a large country with 1.3 billion people, 9.6 million square kilometers of territory and 5 time zones, so even many Chinese are not familiar with our motherland at all. Honest speaking, I hate the scammers very much as only a small number of scammers ruined most of Chinese suppliers' reputations. So it is becoming more and more difficult for the honest Chinese suppliers to trade with the serious buyers. Now I am trying to help some buyers to verify whether the Chinese suppliers who are selected by you is honest or not. 1, If the supplier is from Beijing but with a telephone number like: +86-21-xxxxxxxxx. I will report it to you that it might be a scammer. As the city code of Beijing is 010 not 021; 2, If the supplier's address is Rm 402, Xinhua Rd, Haidian Dist, Shanghai City, Guangxi Province, China. I will report it to you that it might be a scammer. As there is NO city named Shanghai in Guangxi Province. 3, You can give me the supplier's address, tel and other informations for evaluating and I will give you my constructive, useful suggestions before dealing with the Chinese supplier. I think it would be much more helpful for you to make a wise decisions before dealing with the supplier. 4, I can contact with the local police and submit the copies of the bank transfer, the e-mail recordings and any useful proof to the local police. Of course I will push the local police to work on your case if necessary; You know you can't report the scammers who are from Beijing to the police stations in Shanghai. But I can't ensure you that the local police will work on your case with punctuality and refund your money as we are not the local police; 5, Morever, we can visit and check the factory by ourselves if you think it is necessary. 5, Of course, what we could do for you is not free. You just only have to pay a little money. Hoever, it is certainly worth the costs to avoid being scammed. Anyone who is interested please contact with me at: E-mail: jackywau(at)yahoo.cn.

Recommended Sunflower: Does Sanlida Adhesive Gold supplier or just free member? If they are free members then you just learn for future, alll alibaba can do is removing them. YOU should know that you are responsible of giving your money to scammers, not alibaba, you should verify suppliers before paying them, we always saying this here, it is also basic you should even know this without any one advising you to do. Colleen told you the truth,  She is volunteer and just willing to help you, she is doing this for you and nothers just for helping, I can assure you that she is not working with alibaba, instead she is using her experience and time to help people some of them not willing to help themselves, some people like you never understand this,  it seems like you are not understand English, not she. What you said is not helping you nor any other one. Also  you should know Alibaba is the number ONE B2B all over the world, yes there are disadvantages, but alibaba and us working together to make it  more safe for both buyers and suppliers. continue posting all over alibaba's wesite and all other websites, this will never change the reality. Be more responsible of what you are writing. Thank you.

Recommended With the number of compliants that alibaba get every day why do beleive that all of a sudden you should be number one in line when there are so many others who are in the same position play by the rules and get the information in on time. If you conitnue to post around the website people will loose interest quickly and ignore you anyway. It takes weeks to investigate any reports of fraud and it appears that they have already been removed from the site due to the faud. Fair play is also limited to the amount of money that is paid by a gold member and if others have made a claim first then you may have missed out by delaying the paperwork Researching the company thoroughly is the best method of not being scammed. You need to take responsibility for your own actions and may have to accept that you have lost the money. Move on and learn from the experience and next time make sure you know who you are dealing with.
