should i pay income tax

Users questions:i am a doctor working for the govt. in kerala on contract basis for 1 year. my income is 15,000 per month ie=1,80,000 per year. am i supposed to pay income tax? they r already deducting 10% as tax.if it is not taxable what can i do to get back my money and to prevent further illegal taxation?
